If you guys can remember that in 2005, he pleaded guilty to assault and was sentenced to a year in jail last September since he didn't complete his court-mandated 600 hours of community service. He ended up serving 6 months.
It was reported the Rapper Gucci Mane was sentenced to 12 months in jail on Thursday for violating his probation.
Gucci worked hard on his music after his release, taking his career to the next level. Very popular in the underground scene, the rapper was just starting to appear in more mainstream music in songs by Mariah Carey and 50 Cent
Most recently he was featured in the "Spotlight" featuring Usher is Gucci's current single.
He will have plenty of time to work on his music now the he is behind bars
