Wale and UCB

Last night The Street Gossip got witness one of the greatest up and coming artist that we have right now, Wale from Washington D.C. 

The idea was that all of the ticket sales and any donations made at the door will go to the American Red Cross in order to go into the Haiti  relief fund.

Just to heed some warning, Buffalo is a tough crowd as is. It not about know this history of music here it is more about singing what's hot on the radio.  


A lot of times when artist come to perform in Buffalo they get so peeved to the point where the artist give up on their whole performance as a whole. I am originally from NYC and have to truly come to appreciate music. 

 5mins. to start and no one was here

I know if this concert was in NYC then Wale would have killed it because he really is about his fans and it's nice to see that. Plus in other cities the fans give back to the artist, making the performances even better. 
 
It was so refreshing to go to a concert and see a real concert. Wale was there with his band UCB and my were they amazing, made DJ Coryahh and I want to get some Bongos.

One person that we would really like to talk about is Tre from U.C.B. he was amazing he has a very unique an amazing voice. Tre voice could easily woo a girl and have you squirt in your jeans. His voice it orgasmic and boy do he hit some notes. Had a lot of individuals in the audience saying "whoah whoah whoah"  and I hope that if you ever get the see them live you will go ahead and enjoy them. 

We had nothing to sign with so DJ Coryahh gave his shoe. If you wanna get attention you have to stand out. 

Wale was so nice to stay for like 10 mins signing as much as he could. Tre was awesome too for signing. 

Overall
Great band, Great performance and if you get the chance go see them in concert.

Tiger Woods Public Statement

Today Tiger Woods had a public statement today live from Florida. His public statement lasted about 13 mins. There were about 40 individuals in the audience including his mother and notably his wife Elin was missing. He spoke about many topics like religion, family, future plans, and also of course his wife. .

Tiger Woods stated that "I do plan to return to golf one day, but I just don't know when that day will be"

Many times he spoke directly into the camera but in my opinion it was all fake. Just like Chris Browns statement when he read of the teleprompter to explain his apology was not effective.

ESPN correspondents believe that his speech had an impact on the individuals but I beg to differ. There was also a correspondent that stated that "It was a bit choreographed" and I must say it felt that way, when he would touch his chest or look around.

Taxi Driver Remake

There is talks about a Taxi Driver remake.

Do you recognize the guy to the letf. well that's Robert De Niro in 1976 for the film classic Taxi Driver.


Taxi Driver was about "A mentally unstable Vietnam war veteran works as nighttime taxi driver in a city whose perceived decadence and sleaze feeds his urge to violently lash out, attempting to save a teenage prostitute in the process." (imbd.com)

In this film you could find Jodie Foster as well. And even many others would like to say that this film helped jump start the career for RoberDe Niro as an actor and Martin Scorsese as a director.

Everyone on the internet and on TV is on that Hateraid and I for sure am not a hater of the Jersey Shore. Last Fall this show debuted on TV and it has been a smash in my heart and in case you have been living under a rock and have yet to the see a parody of the show this is one of the best.

Britney Murphy's Death was ruled an accident

5 hours ago it was reported that the coroner had ruled Britney Murphy's death as an accident.

They are saying that the cause for her death was due to a mix a pneumonia and prescription drugs.

Britney Murphy died on December 20, 2009. The 32 year old , former "Clueless" star was found by her husband.
